I’ve created this blog to encourage and support you with freeing your mind, body and spirit from restrictions and limitations in order to be fully alive!

What inspired me is my recent desire to try the 10 day Master Cleanse.  I remember doing this back in College for a week but I don’t think I did it properly or fully.  As I was  reading the booklet I realized how powerful this cleanse is going to be to release all of the toxins, mucus and cravings from my body.  The only thing I will consume on this cleanse is freshly squeezed organic lemon juice, cayenne pepper and Grade B maple syrup in water all day plus a herbal laxative at night.

I love detox! I can’t think of anything better then getting the toxins out of my mind and body to feel better!  When you think of detox the first thing you might think of is coming off of addictive substances like drugs and alcohol.  That’s also what you’ll find when you look up the word "Detox" up in the dictionary.  So in a sense it’s getting rid of harmful or toxic things.  These things are holding you back from being truly healthy and alive.

Here are things you can detox that are depleting you:

Coffee * Soda * Diet drinks and food * Sugar * Processed foods * Fried
    foods * Heavy meat & dairy * Candy * Alcohol * Fast food * Drugs *
    Pills * Chemicals * Pesticides * Artificial sweeteners & flavors *
Negative thinking * Complaining * Blaming * TV * Fast paced “have to” *
Stress * Separateness * Lack of sleep * Lazy * No exercise * Worry *
Fear * Judging * Focus on the past & future * Anger * Hate *
    Perfectionist * Victim * Revenge * Excuses * Frustration * Depressio
n * Toxic Relationships and Jobs

A lot of what holds us back is mental so journaling your thoughts and emotions is an easy way to get past blocks and access insights and nurturance.  Free your mind and let your body breathe.

I started my day today with Kundalini Yoga to detox & distress with Maya Fiennes www.acaciacatalog.com that was energizing, cleansing and uplifting.   I listened to my desire to buy The Mater Cleaner booklet and read it while taking an Epsom Salt bath.

To prepare for the cleanse, I am eating very clean these 2 days before (raw organic produce), no alcohol and journaling about the reasons why I want to do it and what I hope to gain from it.  This is important to do for any changes you want to make in life.  The WHY is the motivator that will help you make the change(s).
